The service today was by
Rev Terry Price




Terry opened the service and called the little folk to the front to discuss..... foot ware !
He produced the now famous "doggie bag" and pulled out his first pair of shoes  which were hiking boots.
He asked where these would be used ?
Answers were "walking" "hiking", "in the mountains"
Then he produced a pair of formal work shoes.
"Where will I use these ? "
" Presentations" "work functions" .... "formal events"
Then the next pair appeared and brought smiles around the room...
"Gum boots" or "Wellingtons"
"And where are these used ?"
"In the fields" , "power hosing the driveway", "cleaning the car"
Then lastly out came a pair of trainers or running shoes
"And where will I use these ?"
"Running"
"Well that one is possibly not what I would use them for ! Look underneath they are still pretty new "
​But what is the message behind the showing of the shoes.

The message was that, no matter what shoes you walk in it is most important that you walk in the light of God at all times.

​Terry then went on to give us more insight into the idea by presenting his sermon based on the scriptures in Hebrews 12: 2-17
